Dutiess is pre-launch. Any incident affecting drivers will be posted here with a timeline and a follow-up explanation.

Planned maintenance is announced in the app at least 24 hours in advance, and scheduled outside peak duty hours wherever possible.

How we handle outages

boltWe post here first, as soon as we know, even before we know the cause.
updateWe update at least hourly while an incident is open.
campaignIn-app notice for anything that stops drivers posting or accepting duties.

What counts as what

Status What it means for you
Operational Working normally.
Degraded Usable but slow, or one feature is unreliable - for example verification checks taking longer than usual.
Partial outage One component is down while the rest works - for example OTP delivery failing on one network.
Major outage The service, or a critical part of it, is unavailable.
Maintenance Planned work, announced in advance.

Some components depend on third parties - SMS delivery, push notification services, and the government Sarathi and VAHAN databases. When one of those is down we say so plainly rather than hiding it behind a green dot, even though the fix is not ours to make.
