Writing the name
Pronounced DYOO-tee-ess - from "duty", the word Indian drivers already use for a booking.
Company description
Copy these directly - they are written to be used as-is.
Dutiess is a verified Driver to Driver duty exchange that lets India's cab drivers pass bookings they cannot serve to trusted drivers nearby - with zero commission.
Dutiess is a business-to-business duty exchange for India's commercial cab drivers, travel agencies and fleet operators. When a driver cannot serve a booking from their own customer, they post it as a duty; verified drivers nearby apply, and the poster chooses who gets it. Every driver is verified against government records, customer details stay private, and Dutiess takes no commission on any fare.
Dutiess is a business-to-business duty exchange for India's commercial cab drivers, travel agencies and fleet operators. Indian drivers already pass bookings to one another through WhatsApp groups and phone calls, but that informal network has no verification, no accountability, and brokers who take ₹200–500 from an ₹800 fare.
Dutiess makes that exchange formal. Every driver passes six checks - phone OTP, an Aadhaar scan, a driving licence verified against the government Sarathi database, a vehicle RC verified against VAHAN, a liveness check and a face match - before seeing a single duty. Posters choose from ranked applicants rather than whoever replies first, and customer details stay hidden until the poster shares them.
Dutiess never handles fares and takes no commission. It is launching in Delhi NCR on Android, in eight Indian languages.
Key facts
Founder
[FOUNDER NAME]
Founder, Dutiess · Delhi NCR
[FOUNDER NAME] founded Dutiess in 2026 after spending months with cab drivers, travel agencies and fleet operators across Delhi NCR, documenting how bookings actually move between them - and what it costs drivers when they move badly.
The company's founding principle came from those conversations: a driver's customer is their life's savings, and no driver should have to hand that to an unverified stranger in a WhatsApp group.
